I am associated professor of physics at Al-Azhar University - Gaza since 1993. I have a
passion for teaching and disseminating science. With 27 years of experience in the field, I
have dedicated a significant portion of my time to establishing an educational physics network
to spread lectures, lessons, and articles in various physics domains, benefiting thousands of
students worldwide. I have developed numerous physics teaching skills to align with 21stcentury skills, integrating flipped classroom teaching with STEM education. I have utilized an
educational physics YouTube channel containing lectures and lessons in over 12 physics
courses.
Additionally, I have research interests in laser spectroscopy, thin films, photocatalyst, and
superconductivity, as well as nanotechnology in water purification. I have received several
scientific visits to European universities in Britain, France, and Germany.
My recent activities in physics education include involvement in the "Olive" project funded by
the Finnish Foreign Ministry to implement STEM education in physics teaching and teacher
preparation.
